Custom inground gunite pools for Cedar Hill's slopes and hillside lots, built by one crew with a one-year written warranty.
Cedar Hill is the one part of our service area with real elevation. The lots near Cedar Hill State Park and up around the ridge slope, and a sloped yard is where a lot of pool builders get in trouble. We plan for it: retaining walls, a raised bond beam, and a deck that steps with the grade instead of fighting it. Done right, the slope becomes the best part of the design, with a spillover spa or an infinity edge that looks out over the hill.
On a graded lot, the shell has to carry uneven load and hold back soil on the high side, and that is exactly what a gunite pool does that a fiberglass mold cannot. Steel tied to grade, shotcrete sprayed into one structural shell, engineered for the slope, then cured before finish. It is also why a raised-wall or negative-edge design is a gunite job. The full method is on our pool page.
A hillside build usually needs the pool, the retaining walls, the decking, and the drainage solved together, not by four separate trades pointing at each other. One project developer runs all of it, and can add an outdoor kitchen or shade on the level part of the yard. See finished work in the gallery.

Turn-key, start to finish
One company designs it, permits it, builds it and warranties it. You are not hiring a designer, then a concrete crew, then an electrician, then arguing with all three about whose fault the drainage is.
